The Creators
It all started when we decided not to just talk about it, but be about it. As two sisters growing up in Inglewood, California and attending prestigious high schools and colleges, we were ready to follow the lessons we were taught at home and in school: don’t let fear stop you from being great! ELEVEN11 Magazine was born from the belief that we could make a positive difference in the lives of many by publishing content that highlights all the beautiful contributions of people of color. It’s just the two of us -we design fresh, innovative layouts and write honest, enlightening stories to create content that empowers and informs our community and the world around us. We are a growing publication with a digital footprint and we offer refreshing storytelling to a diverse audience that widens daily.
At our core, ELEVEN11 always strives to be real and relatable. Our intention is to celebrate the imagination, individuality and impact of underrepresented populations from a Black AF perspective.
